This is so cool, and so encouraging to read. I love fairy tales, loved reading them as a kid, and love incorporating elements into my own writing. I think Robin McKinley’s retellings of Beauty and the Beast and Sleeping Beauty remain among my favorites in the genre. I’m not in a position to submit anything, but I might follow along!

If you have a fairy tale retelling that’s still a work-in-progress, you can still fill out the form and say that it’ll be ready by such-and-such a date. I have at least one possible story in my works-in-progress pile, and I did submit the form. So now I’m waiting for a response.
